Former NFL Player
Akili Johnson is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas. He attended Hall High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. After attending high school he chose to attend The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville to play football from 1990 – 1991. After a year in Fayetteville he transferred to Grambling State University to play for the legendary Eddie Robinson from 1991 – 1994. During his time with Grambling he earned All SWAC honors and Division 1AA All American Honors as a Cornerback. In 1995 he signed a free agent contract with the New York Giants. In 1996 he signed a free agent contract with the Atlanta Falcons. AJ currently resides in Little Rock, Arkansas where he is an entrepreneur and a developer of multi-family housing for low income families. He is constantly looking for ways to better his community. His hobbies include movies and bowling.
